Allen

a.k.a. Al Pal

I attend Neighborhood House.  Youth leadership is FUN.  I’m 14 years old and I feel 16 years old, because I get to go places to places I haven’t before.  A goal I have is to have and own a restaurant.  I’m a really big deal because I’m cute.  I’m comfortable with sharing the fact that I like girls, and so please don’t use this against me.  I’ve learned not to stereotype against others and call them retarded.  I wish others would ask me how long I’ve been cooking and I’d tell them since I was three years old.  How I feel is right now is chiz (German sausage J)

a.k.a. DayDay

Being a youth leader, my favorite part is being able to teach others.  I’m 13 years old, but feel as if I am 45 years old, because I feel lazy and don’t work out as much.  My goal is graduating from high school and going to college.  I haven’t had breakfast and I feel exactly like what I didn’t eat.  I’m a really big deal because I show people their true colors.  I hope I don’t get stereotyped, because I’m not the richest person. I’m going to try not to stereotype anyone and tell them they’re dumb or stupid.  Ask me this: “Who’s your favorite celeb crush?”  And I will tell you Chris Brown.  Boojetto is my term to describe being boogie and ghetto.

Savannah

a.k.a. Vannah

I am from Neighborhood House.  Being a youth leadership allows me to have more priviliges.  I am 13 years old, but feel 15, because I am mature and smart.  My current goal is getting good grades.  I had an orange, but “ICK, I am not what I ate!”  I am though, a really big deal because I’m awesome.  Don’t stereotype me, because I am goofy and laugh at a lot of things unfunny.  I will not stereotype based on looks.  Ask me if I like Neighborhood House and my response is YES!  The next time you are fabulously happy, say I am HAPTABULOUS!

Phoua

As an organizer, it’s a privilege to be able to cross paths several times per week with youth and their programming managers.  I am 30 years old and I haven’t seen or heard in as much variety in youth programming as there is available in the 53208.  I feel extremely lucky to have this as my service area.  I am at my best professionally when I see communal support, ideas, and expertise at several levels to complete projects with all judgments aside.  I’m willing to put up with stress, shortages, deadlines, and various personalities to see projects through to the end.  Something people don’t know about me is I enjoy “friendly” competitions.  If you don't live by the book and you live by you, I say you've got "swing!" (my dutiful literary contribution to replacing the term swag)
